What we love
Nevis has a pace of life that encourages you to stop and appreciate all the natural beauty around you – this island is proof that good things come in small packages.
The two-island nation of St Kitts & Nevis offer the perfect combination of stunning mountain peaks and natural white sandy beaches. Its strategic location within the Caribbean and valuable sugar trade led to an advanced and luxurious development that was among the best in the Colonial Caribbean. The legacies of the sugar industry make this a must-visit destination where you can explore the relaxed charms of the plantations – perfect for a lunch stop or day trip. The local culture of these islands are typically Caribbean: mellow, friendly, familiar and with a pulsing soca beat.
The smaller island of Nevis is a tidier package. The island has just one main road circling the solitary volcanic mountain in under two hours. The island’s main town, Charleston, is quite simply charming, and can be walked end to end in just 15 minutes. The island itself is one of the most unspoilt and relaxing islands in the Caribbean – renowned for its charm and easy-going authenticity of its people. The island is vividly green and lush, topped with blue skies, clean air and long empty beaches. Arguably the most famous and most popular beach on Nevis is Pinney’s Beach. The coast runs for about three miles and can be found on the outskirts of Charlestown. Choose to relax on the sand or enjoy a refreshing drink at one of the rustic beach bars or nearby Four Seasons Resort
